Papers, 1906-1931.

The papers of Ernest B. Allen consist mainly of notes (1901-03) taken by Allen of lectures given by Dean Edward I. Bosworth of the Oberlin Theological Seminary and by other faculty members. Also included are Allen's parish registers (4 vols.), 1906-31, containing records of sermons and other addresses, funerals, weddings, and baptisms; there are no texts preserved in these volumes. A small amount of correspondence (1917-18) from religious publishers concerns Allen's submissions of articles and poems.
